Due to his longtime partnership with the brand, it's not often that one comes across non-Nike Michael Jordan sneaker memorabilia. However, collectors now have the opportunity to add a pair of Converse sneakers worn by the basketball legend in the 1984 Olympics to their stash.
SCP Auctions, who retrieved the sneakers from former Forum ball boy, just listed the pair as part of its 2017 Spring Premier lot. The vintage shoes come in Jordan's size 13 and feature his pre-NBA autograph on the left shoe.
Another pair of Converse sneakers reportedly worn by Jordan in the '84 Games were auctioned off in 2015. According to SCP, Jordan only wore two different pairs throughout the tournament, and this particular pair was worn in the gold medal final.
Bidding for the pair currently stands at more the $25,000, and SCP expects the auction to clear six figures. The lot will close on June 10.
