It sounds like a long-awaited Air Jordan 11 colorway will materialize on retail shelves this year: word has it the "Gym Red" Air Jordan 11 is scheduled to release on Dec. 16. Rumors of the shoes' arrival have been circulating for a while now, with leaker accounts recently confirming the release date.
The above image is supposedly a first look at the shoe, featuring a red-on-red upper, black Jumpman, white midsole, and icy outsole. The colorway is similar to a player exclusive one from the collection of Carmelo Anthony.
There have been rumors about this Jordan's release in years past—many believed that the sneaker was going to release in 2015.
This isn't the only new Air Jordan 11 colorway launching in 2017. Also on the way for November is the Air Jordan 11 "Midnight Navy."
