Adidas has been on a hot streak with sneakerheads as of late, and that success is also reflected in their recent sales numbers. According to the its first quarter 2017 financial reports, Adidas North America is up 36 percent.

The success isn't limited to North America either. Key markets across the world have seen double-digit revenue growth, including a 30 percent increase in Greater China.

The brand attributes these strong sales figures in part to growth in its Originals category, which has seen close to a 50 percent increase in modern footwear franchises, which includes models like the NMD and Tubular Shadow.

The momentum isn't just with Adidas either. Reebok, a subsidiary company, is also up 13 percent, with sales up in both its training and Classics categories.
