When Paul George's first signature sneaker released, he made sure to supply his teammates with pairs. He says that they've been appreciative, writing in a first-person piece via Nike that reviews from his fellow Indiana Pacers have been overwhelmingly positive.

"The best compliment has been from teammates saying it’s hands-down the best shoe they’ve ever played in," George writes.

Pacers forward Georges Niang expressed gratitude for the footwear gift back in March, posting his personal pair on Instagram.

Even former teammates have enjoyed complimentary pairs—George Hill, now with the Jazz, posted a pair on his Instagram a couple weeks back.

The Nike PG1, designed by Tony Hardman, made its retail debut in March with the "Shining" colorway. The latest colorway, the "Chalk Burst," released on Thursday here.
