Where do the Migos' sportswear allegiances lie? For the time being, they love Under Armour. Group member Quavo told Sole Collector as much in an interview around the Atlanta rap trio's new campaign for Champs Sports that also involves Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones.
“[Under Armour] wanted to work with us since day one. It’s been a great relationship, they’re cool people. I love Under Armour,” Quavo said. “They do a good job taking care of us, and they do what they gotta do to make the Migos one of they biggest groups.”
The campaign focuses specifically on the Under Armour Threadborne Shift, a model Quavo deftly broke down during a brief phone interview.
"I like the shoe because they came with it this time," he said. "They're very comfortable in the front, I like the strap on the side. On the front of it, the elastic band you could clip your foot in—they feel like slippers. They very comfortable and I can wear 'em with my Off White jeans."
Offset confirmed the shoes' lifestyle potential, adding that they are "real fashion like."
The Migos have worked with Champs before, the chain retailer stocking their Yung Rich Nation clothing line. Under Armour has referenced the group previously via these custom cleats.
