Jordan Brand is showing now signs of slowing down on original Air Jordan 1s and the next to be released is the "Metallic Red" colorway. Just last month, a first look at the sneakers surfaced, but now Foot Locker's Release Calendar is confirming the date.
Previously released in 2009 using Jumpman branding, the "Metallic Red" Air Jordan 1 returns in OG form to join last year's "Metallic Blue" pair. The white-based sneakers feature red accents throughout, with a metallic patent leather being used on the ankle collar and Swoosh. An extra set of red laces will also be included.
Hopefully Jordan Brand eventually releases the OG metallic Air Jordan 1 set in entirety, but for now, fans can expect the "Metallic Red" colorway to release on May 6. Retail prices are set at $160 for men and $120 for grade school.
