Steph Curry's next Under Armour sneaker doesn't release until May, but he's giving New York City residents a chance at the shoes early via a scavenger hunt with Foot Locker. 30 autographed pairs of a special white colorway of his upcoming Under Armour Curry 3Zer0 will be hidden around the city on Saturday, March 4.
Curry himself announced the giveaway via Twitter on Friday, explaining that three different locations across NYC will have ten pairs each. Curry will release three clues on where to find the shoes on his Twitter at 10 a.m. EST tomorrow. Full contest rules are available here.
According to Under Armour, the gold colorway available through this scavenger hunt is never releasing at retail.
The Under Armour Curry 3Zer0 ($120) looks to be this year's post-season offering for Curry, the 2017 counterpart to 2016's Curry 2.5. A wider release of the sneaker is planned for May 1.
