While the "Royal" Air Jordan 1s don't release until Saturday, April 1, there's a way to buy them today. This isn't some shady site either—the anticipated retro is available early through Nike here.
The catch is that the sneakers aren't available to all. As with previous launches through Nike's early access program, shoppers need a code to unlock the shoes. And, as with other pairs, the distribution of these codes is seemingly random. Those who aren't granted access on the first attempt should try logging out and then logging back into their account, which sometimes unlocks the sneakers.
The good news for those that aren't granted early access to these Air Jordan 1s is that they don't look to be super limited. The release will be more widely available than 2016's "Banned" Air Jordan 1 release, although given the buzz around this shoe it probably still won't be an easy purchase.
