Things have been quiet on the Ronnie Fieg x Asics front since the last months of 2016 when the Kith leader released his ambitious "Legends Day" collection. Earlier this week, Fieg dropped a teaser on Instagram promising more Asics product in the form of a Gel Diablo retro. On Friday morning, Fieg posted the first full image of the shoes.
The Gel Diablo hasn't enjoyed the thorough retro treatment of other archival models like the Gel Saga and Gel Lyte 3, and it's not a huge surprise that Asics has picked Fieg to help bring it back. It's done the same on previous releases like the Gel Sight, giving him and Kith the lead on the shoe.
Fieg hasn't announced a specific sneaker release date for this Asics Gel Diablo collaboration.
