In celebration of Air Max Day, Nike is opening Sneakeasy pop-up locations in key hubs across North America next week. At these locations, Air Max enthusiasts will have access to special and limited releases, interactive displays and art installations for the line's 30th Anniversary.
Additionally, on Air Max Day (March 26), NIKEiD will launch limited-edition Nike Air VaporMax and Nike Air Max 1 Flyknit options, with Sneakeasy locations across North America having first access to the builder. New York will have access on March 20, Los Angeles on March 22 and Chicago and Los Angeles on March 25.
For the VaporMax ($250), designers can color the upper and cushioning and add graphics to the lateral side of the shoe. On the Air Max 1 Flyknit ($220), you can color the upper and midsole and add Airmoji details to the tongues.

New York

What: Consumers will have the opportunity to visit the Sneakeasy celebrating the past, present and future of Nike Air. Programming includes – a Department of Nike Archives Air Max genealogy display, first access to the Air Max Day NikeiD builder, trialing sessions for the future of air—the Nike Air VaporMax with a pre-ordering opportunity and exclusive access to the NYC Revolutionairs. Also, on March 25-26, additional consumer activations will launch all over the city at Nike Soho, NikeLab 21 Mercer, Nike Flatiron, Nike x Kith, atmos, Bandier and Concepts NYC. What: A curated experience by Director X, the Sneakeasy in Toronto will include interactive displays created by six Toronto visionaries that creatively bring to life three decades of key Air Max milestones and silhouettes. Additionally, from March 11-25 the Nike Air Max Bus, a mobile experience celebrating 30 years of Air Max, will hit the streets of Toronto, carrying a collection of Air Max 1 grails and a genealogy of Air installation. Select participants will have the chance to unlock one of the coveted silhouettes - being brought out of the vault at its original price - or win a golden ticket to the Sneakeasy.

What: The Chicago Sneakeasy will celebrate the past, present and future of Nike Air with a curated collection of local art installations inspired by “air” and “vapor,” an interactive photo experience, surprise music performance, 1:1 trialing stations and NIKEiD access.

What: Come celebrate Air Max Day at the Los Angeles exclusive destination celebrating air. Consumers will have the chance to purchase products from the NIKEiD Printing opportunity to experience the Air VaporMax, chance to purchase products from the NIKEiD Printing Press and check out the history and heritage of Nike Air.
