Nike Fiscal Q3 2017

Nike Chairman, President, and CEO Mark Parker is making big promises. For the brand's fiscal 2017 third quarter results, announced on Tuesday, the leader of the world's biggest sportswear company laid out exactly how Nike plans to continue its dominance. These quarterly earnings reports provide an update to shareholders on the company's sales, goals, and future products.

The talks are full of brandspeak—as to be expected, the word "innovation" is used ad nauseum pretty much every time—but anyone willing to wade through all that will be rewarded with some pretty interesting tidbits about where Nike is headed and where it's been.

Here, we've collected a handful of key talking points from top Nike execs from its Q3 2017 earnings call. Below are comments from Parker, along with Nike Brand President Trevor Edwards and Chief Financial Officer Andy Campion. (The full transcript is here for more thorough readers.)
