With an countless amount of highlight reel-worthy plays under his belt, Los Angeles Clippers forward Blake Griffin is a hero to many, including 11-year old Justice Griffith.
Griffith, a patient at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, is battling a form of leukemia commonly found in children who are diagnosed. Doing his part to make sure the youngster has a smile on his face during the fight, Griffin recently paid Griffith a visit at the hospital and worked with him to design a custom pair of Jordan Super.Fly 5 sneakers that he'd wear in a game. Tonight, Griffin made good on his promise, playing in the "Just 5" customs against the Washington Wizards.
Before tip-off, Griffin presented a pair to Griffith, who was in attendance for the game.
Griffin then flirted with a triple-double, putting up 26 points, 10 rebounds and 9 assists in the victory. Perhaps he should wear more customs designed by his young fan.
