Alexander Wang is known for creating futuristic footwear designs through his collaborations with Adidas. While many of his designs fall in the lifestyle or running categories, the fashion designer and Adidas are teaming up on sneaker for two specific sports—skateboarding and basketball.
Coming in beige and chestnut/black colorways, the Alexander Wang x Adidas Originals Skate silhouette features premium leather upper. The upside down Trefoil logo is subtly perforated on the toe box, while perforations for breathability line the tongue. A tri-color herringbone pattered midsole completes both colorways.
While the skate sneakers appear to be Boost-less, the basketball silhouette features predominant Boost midsoles. The high-top sneakers come in black and white variations. Upside down Trefoil logos and perforations are also included in the design.
The Adidas Originals by Alexander Wang Skate and Basketball sneakers are scheduled to release on April 1.
