It looks like Adidas has timed a set of big sneaker releases to take some of the heat away from Air Max Day, an annual marketing bonanza from Nike that culminates on March 26. Per Complex, Adidas will restock NMDs and debut new Boost sneakers on March 25, an out-of-nowhere launch whose timing does not feel like a coincidence.

Styles making up the pack include the latest "Triple Black" Ultra Boost, a new colorway for James Harden's signature shoe, and NMD R2s. The 40 sneakers in this group (a sampling of which appear above) will be available via Adidas online here on Saturday morning.

There were rumors circulating at Consortium retailers about a possible Yeezy restock this weekend as well, but Adidas tells Sole Collector no such launch is happening.

Nike began celebrating Air Max Day in 2014 and has made the event bigger and bigger in subsequent years with more and more special product.
