When the Nike LunarEpic Flyknit was introduced last year, it was a major step in revolutionizing running sneakers for the brand. The all-new Lunarlon midsoles provided cushioning and flexibility to all areas of the foot, which is essential for high impact or long distance running. Now, the widely successful silhouette gets revamped for its second model.
Moving away from the high-top design of the original, the Nike LunarEpic Flyknit 2 uses a a low-top Flyknit upper with a plush collar. To provide the cushioning the LunarEpic is known for, the sneakers continue to feature laser-siped Lunarlon midsole and pressure mapped outsoles. Coming in "Olive Green," "Blue/Pink" and "Grey" the latest in Nike running will appeal to men and women alike.
The Nike LunarEpic Flyknit 2 is scheduled to release on February 2, in North America and globally on February 16.
