Joining the likes of Rihanna, Kylie Jenner and the Weeknd, the Minions are the latest celebrity sneaker endorsers joining the Puma family. The brand announced its multi-season partnership with Illumination and Universal Brand Development today.

Known for their work in the Despicable Me franchise, the Minions will serve as "Creative Collaborators" for a Fall / Winter 2017 sportswear range. Expect playful, yet luxurious designs, a brand new pattern, splashes of color and plenty of goggles on classic silhouettes. For example, the Puma Suede is reworked in tonal black, with custom Minions-painted graphic insoles that are finished by a debossed collaboration logo.

“We’re very excited to have partnered with the Minions for a collaborative collection," said Puma Creative Director for Sportstyle Heiko Desens. "Their mischievous and playful nature fits the Puma DNA to a T. Apart from their zest for life and endearing character, they inspire us in many ways; they’re extremely hardworking and passionately creative. We welcome the Minions to the Puma Family.”

Minions x Puma footwear, apparel and accessories will release in adult sizing globally on puma.com, Puma stores and select retailers like Colette and Opening Ceremony beginning June 1. The kids' collection will be available on puma.com, Puma stores and kids' retailers. Despicable Me 3 arrives in theaters on June 30.
