Adidas is releasing a new colorway of the Harden Vol. 1 to commemorate Harden's time as an Arizona State Sun Devil. This new colorway, dubbed "Fear the Fork" shows off the Sun Devils' team colors by dressing the Harden Vol. 1 in black and gold.

Harden created a legacy at Arizona State long before he had the NBA "Fearing the Beard" as a superstar for the Houston Rockets. His two seasons at Arizona State led Harden to average 19 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 3.7 assists per game.

"I decided to go to ASU, do my own thing and it was all work from there. That was the beginning of who I am as a man," said Harden while talking with Adidas. "Arizona State helped me, and I got to show my love and how much they mean to me."

Harden's PAC-10 Player of the Year and All-American accolades after his sophomore season at ASU led him to be the third selection of the 2009 NBA Draft, and have his number 13 hung in the rafters at Arizona State.

Now Adidas has decided to honor Harden's time as a Sun Devil with a new iteration of his signature sneaker. The "Fear the Fork" Harden Vol. 1 is composed of a black knit upper with accents of Sun Devil gold on the toe, laces, and three stripe and Harden branding.

The gold hits are meant to represent the desert sun, as well as Arizona State's signature team colors.

The Adidas Harden Vol. 1 "Fear the Fork" is set to hit retailers on March 4 for a retail price of $140.
