While the 20th anniversary Foamposites don't release until Jan. 26, pairs are available early now through Nike's SNKRS app. There, users can unlock a video where Penny Hardaway himself shows off the shoes and allows you to purchase them early.
To access the sneakers, open the app's Foamposite story and scroll down to the imagery of this year's "Royal" Foamposite One retro. From there, flip through the photos until the profile view arrives. There, the app will stick and let you color in the sneakers—just like how Hardaway had to Sharpie his pairs to conform with NBA uniform guidelines. After you color in the sneakers, Hardaway will lead you to a page letting you buy the sneakers early.
This unlock requires the latest version of the Nike SNKRS app.
A wider release of these Foamposites will happen on Jan. 26.
