It used to be that the term "retro sneakers" mostly conjured images of Air Jordans from the ’80s and ’90s, but as each year passes, more shoes once thought of as modern and innovative are getting to the point where they qualify for retro status.
Take the Air Zoom Generation for example. Many of us still remember LeBron James’ first season like it was yesterday, but it reality, it was 14 years ago. A lot has happened in that time, including a heck of a lot of retro sneaker models.
Some have been good. Some have not. But there are still a lot we’d like to see come back from eras both old and more recent. Here are our wishes for the next models we’d like to see return.
