While almost every sneaker brand out there has at least one model catering to CrossFit, only one of them has a license to create the official CrossFit sneakers. That brand is Reebok, which this week announced its latest model catering to the fitness-crazy crowd that fills out boxes every day.
The Reebok Nano 7 switches up the typical release schedule for this sort of footwear, arriving at the start of the CrossFit season to give athletes a full cycle in the shoe.
The new model has Reebok's Nanoweave technology, a Powerlaunch toebox for stability, and reinforced clips around the heel.
Reebok has put much focus on CrossFit and fitness as a whole, hoping to carve out a niche by catering to athletes interested in high intensity workouts. This dedication is confirmed by Judson Vancor, Reebok's global director of product.
"We want to cement Reebok’s place as the top training brand, by strengthening our bond with CrossFit athletes with the shoe that has become essential to any workout," Vancor said, via press release.
