Just because Kyrie Irving gets player exclusive sneakers from Nike on the regular doesn't mean he's too good for custom pairs. Irving added another custom to his collection recently via this one-of-one Kyrie 2 designed by Mache.
The sneaker is inspired by grape jelly, featuring a colorway very clearly riffing on the substance and a couple bunches of grapes on the tongue. What's the connection between Irving and grape jelly? According to Mache, the shoes are a reference to New York City's Jelly Fam crew and their namesake move.
Nike has created proper PB&J sneakers before, giving such colorways to Kevin Durant.
