Nick Young got quite a farewell from Los Angeles Lakers teammate Kobe Bryant, who threw Young's Adidas sneakers in the trash in response to his autograph request on Mamba Day. Kobe, a longtime Nike athlete who started his footwear career with Adidas, requested Swoosh shoes to sign instead.
How does Young feel about the incident months later? In an interview on go90's "Here's The Rub," he jokingly calls Bryant a hater for the harsh reaction.
"I think he's a hater," Young says, agreeing with the show's host that the move from Bryant was more throwing shade than getting paid.
