With Christmas footwear season nearing, players around the NBA are starting to add a few surprises to their rotations.
This week, Nike celebrated LeBron James and Kyrie Irving's two games in Hardwood Classics uniforms by sending them matching Player Exclusive sneakers. James played in two throwback colorways of the LeBron Soldier 10, while Irving received a special make-up of the Kyrie 2 — his first ever "HWC" sneakers.
Elsewhere, #SoleWatch favorite P.J. Tucker continues to go the extra mile to remain the league's most ambitious sneakerhead. Before a game against the Los Angeles Lakers Friday night, Tucker stopped by LA-based sneaker shop RIF to pick up an ultra-rare pair of Air Jordan Player Exclusives while still wearing his practice gear. He wore the shoes in a Suns victory later that night.
