While Mike Trout is a New Jersey native, the Angels outfielder's football allegiances lie in Philadelphia as that's the franchise closest to his hometown of Vineland. He proved his fandom this week by sending a big shipment of his latest signature sneaker, the Lunar Trout 3, to the Philadelphia Eagles. According to sports reporter Les Bowen, every player on the team got a pair.

The sneaker care packages came with a card from Trout featuring a photo of him in an Eagles jersey.
Nike has given Trout, a five-time MLB All-Star, more than the signature cleat treatment, turning his silhouettes into sneakers in order to give them more life outside of the baseball diamond. The most recent of them, the above Lunar Trout 3, released on June 1.
