While LeBron James hasn't revealed his next Nike shoe to the public just yet, he's been wearing a blacked-out pair in private. According to ESPN's Dave McMenamin, James wore a pair of the Nike LeBron 14 during a shootaround on Thursday before removing them while talking to press to keep them secret.
McMenamin says that the shoes feature a strap and will be in stores come January.
What else is known about the upcoming LeBron 14? Not much, other than that it will be cheaper than recent Nike LeBron styles at $175.
Nike's seen sales for LeBron's line decline at chain stores like Foot Locker recently, and is hoping the price reduction will help bring numbers back up.
