Jordan Brand's campaign around the Space Jam 20th anniversary even includes a mini-remake of the iconic film. In the short, shown above, Michael Jordan is replaced by the likes of Jordan athletes Jimmy Butler and Blake Griffin.
While neither wear the actual "Space Jam" Air Jordan 11s in the video, it is otherwise filled with "Space Jam" versions of more modern sneakers like the Air Jordan 31.
Jordan will play up the return of the Monstars, the alien villains from the original movie, by having them "take over" the Foot Locker House of Hoops location in Harlem today. The takeover will include apparel customization, limited edition Jordans, and more, and runs till Dec. 3.
The "Space Jam" Air Jordan 11 returns on Dec. 10.
