This new Nike Kyrie 2 is for the kids. Literally: the sneaker was designed by a patient at the OHSU Doernbecher Children's Hospital in Oregon and proceeds from its sale will go to fund the facility.

The shoe's busy design is the creation of Andy Grass, a boy who was crushed by a log at the beach and spent three weeks in the hospital afterward. His Kyrie 2 tells the story of the traumatic event and has details referencing his family members and faith.

The Nike Kyrie 2 "Doernbecher" will release on Dec. 17 for $120. The sneaker appears in full detail below.
