While Christmas didn't quite pack the same punch this year in terms of special sneaker releases, it was an eventful day for debuts.
Most notably, after an extended delay, LeBron James finally unveiled the Nike LeBron 14. The strapped model appears to be a fusion of two of his favorite recent game shoes: the LeBron 13 Low and LeBron Soldier 10. James laced up a wild, multicolor version that, as of now, has no tentative release date.
James' teammate Kyrie Irving also broke out his new signature model against the Golden State Warriors. Irving played in two colorways of the Nike Kyrie 3, starting with a white and gold Player Exclusive before switching to the "Samurai" pair that released as a SNKRS quickstrike before the game.
Also, while Blake Griffin and Chris Paul missed their Christmas Day game, Jordan Brand was still well-represented on the holiday. To kick off the evening. Carmelo Anthony played in the Jordan Melo M13 for the first time, wearing the "True Red" tribute colorway against the Boston Celtics. Later, Jimmy Butler and LaMarcus Aldridge hit the court in the upcoming "True Red" Air Jordan 13 Retro in their matchup.
