Those who have been paying attention to James Harden's first Adidas sneaker since the model's media reveal will recall that four colorways were previewed in the initial batch. But it looks like that quartet wasn't a straightforward timeline of what was to come—Adidas has disrupted it with unexpected colorways like the "Imma Be a Star" and now this triple black pair.
The shoe is officially called the "Dark Ops Xeno" and is inspired by Harden's "tactical approach" to the game of basketball, according to Adidas. The Xeno part comes from the reflective bits applied to the heel's three stripe motif.
The Adidas Harden Vol. 1 "Dark Ops Xeno" will release on Dec. 16 for $140.
