The first colorway of the Adidas Dame 3 is dropping sooner than expected. The triple red colorway, which came pre-nicknamed by the brand and Damian Lillard as "Roots" is launching on December 14 on adidas.com for $115. This first drop of Lillard's third signature sneaker will be limited and it's colorway is inspired by the bricks that the player had to carry in each hand while practicing defensive stances during his AAU basketball days. “He was teaching us that you got to be on time, you got to be a hard worker,” Dame said of his high school basketball coach Raymond Young in the official news release. “If not, this is what you’re going to do until you figure it out. For me, those lessons carried on past the basketball court.”
