It's going to be tough for any Adidas runner to challenge the momentum that the Ultra Boost has at the moment. That being said, there are other models in the brand's repertoire that use a similar equation on the technology side, combining stuff like Primeknit and Boost. Take this one for example, the Adidas AdiZero Prime.
The sneaker is a slightly confusing one, its name rather close to the already released AdiZero Prime LTD. The design is close too, although this one has more of a sock-like fit at the collar and doesn't have the LTD's support cage around the heel.
According to Australia's Up There Store, the Adidas AdiZero Prime in this olive colorway will release on Dec. 28. There is no word yet on a U.S. release for this pair.
