How does Kevin Plank, founder and CEO of Under Armour, feel about Donald Trump's securing the highest office in the land? The outspoken exec gave his thoughts on the presidential election results in an interview with Footwear News.

"I stayed up until 4 a.m. this morning watching the coverage myself," Plank said on Wednesday. "I think we all had the same reaction. I’d hate to own one of those poll businesses today."

Plank avoids mentioning Trump or Hillary Clinton in his responses, but expresses hope for the future of the U.S.

"But this is going to be our president, and we all have to embrace it. I hope it becomes a unifying moment for America."

Sportswear companies have quickly been pulled into controversy following Trump's election win, with New Balance catching serious heat for a pro-Trump comment made on Wednesday.
