What's the appropriate course of action for a player when an opponent's sneaker falls off during an NBA game? Get the sneaker out of there, of course. That was Rudy Gay's move as one of DeMar DeRozan's Nike Kobe 11s left his foot during Sunday's Raptors-Kings game.

Not only did Gay get the shoe out of there, he tossed it into the crowd where it connected with the face of an unsuspecting fan. Nike touts the Kobe 11 as a lightweight design, which bodes well for the face of the guy who gets whacked in the clip above.

Other players in similar situations have opted not to eject the wayward sneakers but to take advantage of their defensive upsides.
