While his beloved alma mater was preparing for a rivalry game on the west coast, Nike co-founder Phil Knight was busy attending the weekend's biggest matchup in Columbus.

Following Ohio State's 30-27 overtime victory over the Michigan Wolverines, Mr. Knight was a guest of coach Urban Meyer and the Buckeyes in the victors' locker room, where he gave the team a congratulatory speech.

"Of the top 25 NCAA teams, Nike supplies 20 of them," said Knight. "And none of those teams are we more proud of than the one in this dressing room."

It was an important game for the Nike family, as the Buckeyes debuted new LeBron Soldier 10 cleats and Michigan visited for the first time as a Jordan Brand school. The brand's biggest active endorser, LeBron James, was also in attendance.
