A staple in Dwyane Wade's signature line, the "Announcement" colorway is an annual commemoration of Wade's decision to make the jump from Jordan Brand to Li-Ning with a vision of his own global brand in mind. The next addition to the series lands in stores this weekend.
The "Announcement" Way of Wade 5 sees a Chicago-friendly scheme laid over the mesh version of the shoe. Layered textiles provide a reinforced fit, while the internal bootie features comfort-focused construction. The sole is stacked with a newly designed dual-duometer TPU clip system, carbon fiber shank plate and semi-translucent rubber for lateral support and stability.
Select DTLR stores, The Boutique Miami and wayofwade.com will sell the "Announcement" Way of Wade 5 this Sunday, Nov. 13 for $160. To coincide with the launch, an in-store meet-and-greet will take place at the Madison and Pulaski location from 3-4 p.m. on Sunday.
