Before Zeke and Dak, there was Daunte Culpepper and Randy Moss, a talented young duo that sparked one of the most dynamic offenses in NFL history. For his high level of play, Moss was immediately rewarded with a Jordan Brand endorsement deal as a rookie, while it took a few more years for Culpepper to catch on with the Jumpman.

While he was never an official member of Team Jordan, Culpepper was the recipient of exclusive Air Jordan 14 cleats during the 2005 season — a campaign that was shortened due to a knee injury. As seen in the photo below, Culpepper played in a standard white and black colorway, but veteran collector Baby Dill got his hands on an extremely rare pair in white and purple that never hit the field.

It'd be interesting to find out more on the back story of Culpepper's dealings with Jordan Brand. Perhaps a fully healthy season would have led to him becoming a full-fledged representative.
