Nike announced a new, long-term deal with Portuguese soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo on Tuesday. The brand hasn't disclosed the length of the partnership, but Ronaldo suggests in the video above that he'll be a lifetime Nike athlete.

"I look [at] this new contract for life," the Real Madrid player says.

How much is the new deal worth? Nike hasn't disclosed that either, although TMZ is saying the deal is "very similar" to LeBron James' lifetime Nike deal said to be worth upwards of $1 billion.

News of Ronaldo's new deal with Nike comes just a day after he announced a contract with Real Madrid that will keep him with the team until 2021.

Ronaldo first signed with Nike in 2003.
