Steve Smith Uses Cleats to Speak Up Against Domestic Violence

While the NFL deals with more domestic violence problems, one of the league's biggest Domestic Violence Awareness advocates is urging people to speak up against the issue to break the chain of silence.

In addition to working with charity organizations and hosting events, Smith is spreading the message on his cleats. The work of customizer Soles by Sir, Smith's Under Armour cleats are styled in Ravens-friendly purple, the official color of Domestic Violence Awareness. The right cleat reads "Break the Silence," while the left features a purple ribbon.

Smith and the Ravens are playing the New York Jets on CBS now.
