In one of the more anticipated preseason debuts of all-time, the new-look Golden State Warriors took the floor in Vancouver tonight with their brand new small forward — Kevin Durant.
The Warriors, who were last seen blowing a 3-1 lead in the NBA Finals with the first ever unanimous MVP, squared off against DeMar DeRozan and the Toronto Raptors. Not exactly showing the team chemistry many fans expect them to develop by season's end, the Dubs struggled in their first outing with a re-tooled roster, falling 97-93. The "Big 4" (Curry, Durant, Green, Thompson) each played less than 20 minutes.
