The Future x Reebok partnership, announced in July, 2016, will result in a new sneaker design for the rapper set to release later next year. Senior VP of Reebok Classic Todd Krinsky spoke briefly on the coming shoe in an interview with Sole Collector this week.

"Right now we are in the prototype stage, so probably late of next year," Krinsky said about the shoe's retail arrival. "...He's a very creative guy, so down the road he has a desire to do his own thing. We have a prototype we are working on now taking some influence from things he likes. So it'll be pretty interesting."

Reebok's released apparel from Future's Freebandz label, but hasn't had a proper sneaker with his name on it just yet. The brand is using Future in the push of its new Insta Pump Fury "Overbranded," but that design isn't a proper collaboration.
