Oklahoma will tip its hat to Russell Westbrook's contributions to the state by inducting the Thunder star to the Oklahoma Hall of Fame on Tuesday, Nov. 17. According to the Oklahoman, Westbrook will be presented at the ceremony by none other than his Jordan Brand boss, Michael Jordan.
"We are truly excited to have Michael Jordan presenting Russell Westbrook, and we are equally fortunate to have a full slate of accomplished presenters joining us at this year's ceremony," said Oklahoma City Hall of Fame president and CEO, Shannon Rich, of the event.
Westbrook has become the face of Jordan's signature sneaker line in recent years, and will this year lead the charge for his latest, the Air Jordan 31.
