The Chicago Cubs took the first step to ending their 108-year World Series curse with a victory over the San Francisco Giants in Game 1 of their NLDS series earlier tonight. In a pitching duel for the ages, it was third baseman Javier Baez that broke the ice when he sent a shot in the left-field basket in the bottom of the 8th inning. The Cubs won 1-0 and will be back on the field for Game 2 tomorrow night.

For the biggest moment of his young career, Baez was laced up in a pair of custom Air Jordan 1 "Gold Medal" cleats by Custom Cleats Inc. You can't buy these in stores, but you can request your own cleat conversions at customcleats.com.
