Do "Chocolate" Adidas Yeezy 750 Boosts Glow in the Dark or Not?

It looks like select pairs of the "Chocolate" Yeezy 750 Boosts have glow in the dark soles.

The most recent Kanye West sneaker release, the Adidas Yeezy Boost 750 "Chocolate," was a confusing one with respect to the soles of the shoe. Arguments have been unfolding on social media since the colorway's release about whether the translucent sole is supposed to glow in the dark like the one on the previous pair.

It appears that the vast majority of the sneakers released do not glow in the dark, including the pair we unboxed on Facebook Live. But, a handful of people who purchased these Yeezys from the Adidas Originals store in London took to the internet to show off the glowing soles on theirs, causing some to speculate that select pairs were built using leftover sole units from the last release.

Confirming that at the very least some pairs have the luminescent accent is the @adidasUK Twitter account, which said in the below tweet that the shoes glow.

@DJSunnyBoyLP Hey Sunny, yes they are. Don't worry your not seeing things. ✨🌙

Sole Collector reached out to Adidas for a comment but the brand hasn't yet been able to explain the curious case of the glowing soles on these Yeezys.
