It's been an emotional week for baseball fans and the Miami Marlins faithful, but there's something to look forward to for supporters of South Florida's home team.
Miami-based retailer SoleFly introduces its latest Air Jordan collaboration — a Marlins-inspired take on the Air Jordan 23. Teal, a hue strongly associated with Miami sports and the Florida Marlins' original primary color, covers a monochrome leather version of the shoe. Key details, such as the toe, midsole and outsole, are also styled in teal. For a custom touch, SoleFly's "SF" logo is lasered on the tongue of the left shoe.
There will be two ways to get your hands on this limited edition collaboration. First, there will be an in-store only release at SoleFly's Cutler Bay location on Saturday, Oct. 22. Shoes will be sold first come, first serve following the 11:00 a.m. EST opening. An additional allotment will be sold online at solefly.com on Monday, Oct. 24 at 11:00 a.m. EST. There will also be a head-to-toe capsule collection available that SoleFly will unveil soon.
