It shouldn't come as much of a surprise that Nike's longest continually running runner line, the Nike Pegasus, has been a behemoth for the company in terms of sales. Just how many pairs of the various Pegasus models has the brand sold over the years? Around 50 million, according to Nike chairman, president, and CEO, Mark Parker.

Parker shared the massive figure during the brand's first quarter earnings call for fiscal 2017 on Tuesday.

The Nike Pegasus line began in 1983 and is currently in its 33rd iteration, seen above. Parker himself actually worked on the first Pegasus shoe as a designer during the early part of his career with Nike.
