This colorway has been a popular one on Nike retro models over the past two years, but has rarely made it onto a pure performance silhouette like the Metcon 2. The sneaker is a "high intensity training" design often worn by CrossFitters.
Nike's been keen on issuing themed colorways like this on the Metcon series, previously crafting releases around iconic Air Jordan 1 colorways.
