Now that the adidas NMD has delivered on its mission of being an everyday urban lifestyle shoe, it's looking to unchartered territories with a new trail-ready version of the NMD Chukka silhouette.
This upgraded version, known as the adidas NMD C1 Trail, sees the NMD Chukka get wrapped in a water resistant nylon upper complete with taped seams. A brown leather heel cup adds to the outdoors vibe, while the ride is cushioned with a full-length Boost midsole. The biggest addition, however, is the rippled outsole, which will provide grip on off-road surfaces.
The adidas NMD C1 Trail is slated for an October 1 launch through select adidas Originals channels.
