Vans' birthday celebrations continue in this, the sneaker brand's 50th year, with a group of releases hand-picked by Steve Van Doren, the son of Vans founder Paul Van Doren who's still heavily involved with the company.

The group looks to Vans' rich archive of wild prints and vintage graphics like its checkerboard and aloha leaf patterns for inspiration.

This capsule consists of skate lifestyle staples like the Vans Sk8-Hi, Vans Slip-On, and Vans Era.

Readers can watch for the Van Doren Approved collection to hit sneaker stores in August.
