Facing gold or bust expectations in Rio, the United States Men's Basketball Team began their Olympic journey yesterday in an opening round matchup against China.

Led by Kevin Durant, the Americans made easy work of their friends from China, cruising to a 119-62 victory. Durant scored a game-high 25 points, while DeMarcus Cousins and Paul George helped with 17 and 15 points, respectively. Next up is a game against Venezuela on Monday.

In terms of sneakers, there weren't any surprises, but Jimmy Butler did finally go to work in the Air Jordan 31. The rest of the team laced up their "Away" blue kicks, all of which can be seen below in this special edition of #SoleWatch.
