After a couple of slow weekends, this weekend will offer the largest volume of sneaker releases that we have seen in a long while with sneakers from Nike, adidas, and Jordan on deck.
The biggest story of the weekend gets things started early with adidas celebrating another "NMD Day" on Thursday. As we've seen from past "NMD Days," the Three Stripes is set to release several different colorways of the NMD as well as introduce and release several different colrways of the NMD_XR1.
Nike gets its weekend started on Friday with the release of the Nike Flyknit Racer "Volt" and the Nike KD 9 "Birds of Paradise."
Heading into Saturday, adidas returns to continue its "Consortium World Tour" with a Superstar 80s collaboration with KASINA, Nike pays tribute to the 1996 Women's National Basketball Team with a Hyperdunk 2016 Low, and Jordan anchors the weekend with the debut of the Air Jordan 1 Retro High Decon and the release of the Air Jordan 5 Retro "Gold Medal."
